FREE or Low Cost Spay / Neuter Programs

 

Community Partnership for Pets is working toward the day when no healthy, adoptable animals are destroyed because there are not enough homes for them. Spay/Neuter is the answer and we have programs available.

FREE Program:

Henderson County residents earning less than $35,000 per year can call Henderson County Animal Services (828) 697-4723 for information on their FREE program.

 

Low Cost Programs:

Henderson County residents can use these 2 programs which include spay/neuter surgery and a free rabies vaccination:

  • Purchase a $25 voucher to use at the Humane Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinic in Asheville. Vouchers good for dogs and cats.
  • Purchase a Local Veterinarian voucher to use at one of the (4) Henderson County veterinarians list below. Vouchers are $30 for cats and $50 for dogs. Additional discounts are available for qualified families.

            $5,000 Spay/Neuter Grant

            

Community Partnership for Pets has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association.   To participate in this grant process, the non-profit must be sponsored by a local veterinarian.

Community Partnership for Pets wishes to thank Dr. Jonathan Pernell - Laurel Park Animal Hospital for his support and sponsorship.

This grant money will be used to spay/neuter pets of low-income families in Henderson County, NC.
